The day we did this it was very hot. However, it was still a very beautiful hike. We hiked during the week and so we basically had the entire mountain to ourselves, which was superior! No one was at the peak so we were able to enjoy it at our own pace. The last time I did this hike was for the six pack in 2016 and I didnt have it in me to even take the small detour to see the Washington Monument. This time however I beasted this mountain, so thats why I picked my favorite photo as me at the monument! And of course I indulged in my peak reward, My snickers bar!!
