Strawberries in the Snow

We got there early before the crowds.  It was cold and windy.  The trail was icy and snow covered.  Was a little nervous about the descent as I lent my micro spikes to my friend that forgot hers.  Some scrambles on the false peaks near the top.  By the time we headed back down from the peak, the sun had melted most of the ice and we were in slush and mud. Brought my pup and he did really well.

Pretty well traveled trail.  Beautiful views all the way to Catalina!  Would do again.

The snow makes it an adventure!
