Mt. Woodson

First time on Woodson (and Potato Chip rock). Opted for the service road route on the east side of the mountain. It’s 2 miles straight up, so it’s a good workout. I reached the top in 45 minutes. I chose a Monday, first day back from Holiday vacation for most people, to avoid crowds. The weather was good, sunny and about 60. There was a lot of valley fog and no ocean view due to the mixed clouds. I’m looking forward to the rest of the hikes this year!
