Great hike!! Glad this was the first one we did for our challenge! Bits of snow and ice, but nothing serious.
Nice and warm in the way up, but after you start heading towards the summit, it did get a bit breezy. We ended up putting on our shells for the descent, until the fork for Strawberry Meadows.
Departed trailhead around 10:45, we did run into lots of ppl heading down as well as some mountain bikers. Be sure to keep an ear out for those guys!
