The trail to the summit is fairly simple, UP.
there were some hard snow patches, deep on some ends.
Ice was the biggest issue specially descending in the dark. micro spikes should be used throughout the hike. Campons work best but you will need to take them off a few times unless you dont care about using them on wet dirt or rocks .
Wind was blowing hard, very cold! bring a facecover!
the backbone scenery was absolutlly amazing it reminded me of the lord of the rings aereial shots as the felloship traveled through the mountains.
BEWARE: The backbone should be cross with caution, certain death awaits if you fall, scpecially when its snow covered or the wind is blowing hard.
there was a snow cover 50° slope you must cross just before the final summit push, it looked unstable, and it could let go anytime creating an avalanch danger.
