Started the hike around 740 in the morning.  The “trail” us really a semi-steep, beaten up service road for the many communications towers on top of the mountain.  Once at the peak just continue down the trail a bit more towards the west/ocean view and you’ll come to the famous Potato Chip Rock on the right.
