False peak, false peak, and no strawberries!

Hike #2 for the year and first time participating in the Six Peak challenge. This was a challenging hike for me as I am new to hiking and not in the best hiking shape.

That said the day was great. Challenged myself and for to the summit! People on the trail were nice. Trail was not crowded. It can be busy at the summit as people are taking photos though again people were considerate and helped people, including myself, with their photos.

Trail does include some scrambling which was a first for me. Poles help a lot. The majority of the parking lot was closed off today so get there early.

If all goes well I will be doing this again later this month with some friends.
