Sawmill and first spike use success

Gorgeous snow abounds! This trail is a  beautiful adventure. First time using microspikes and wow they are a game changer. I fell in love with good condition snow hiking. Great practice trail as I took them on and off several times: the trail was a mix of normal, muddy, ice, and snow. Really enjoy the pit stops of this trail—>  Mt Pinos (the center of the universe according to the Chumash tribe and given the zen after this hike, they are on to something) and the condor observation area. Have a map of some sorts as the trail to sawmill can be easy to miss.
