Stepped out of the car early at White Gate trailhead and was greeted with the howling of a nearby pack of coyotes… never did see them though. Enjoyed trying a new route this year to the peak – beautiful foliage on the Nora trail to West Point Inn and also along Fern Creek trail to East Peak Summit. The views at the top never disappoint and returning along Steep Ravine is always a great way to finish.
