First peak of the 2021 challenge.  The trail was in good condition and we picked a day with minimal traffic (only about a dozen other hikers on the trail).  The trail is a bit narrow in places so I do recommend hiking in long pants to avoid scratching your legs.  And, as so many others mentioned the last 0.4 miles up is a workout.  Coming back down was also an issue as I didn't want to fall and end my season before it really got started.  Be safe!
