Missed the rain up Mission Peak

We started off at approx 10.30 on a Sunday morning. Easy drive and found parking quickly. Chilly once out of car but quickly warmed up as we headed straight up! Great hike and only saw a couple of other people on the trail. We did the Sunol Wilderness to Mission Peak trail (logged in All Trails) which is a 10.3 mile out and back trail, 2224ft elevation gain. It took us just under 4 hours to complete. We mostly followed the Ohlone Wilderness Trail. The trail goes through areas with cows grazing (we quietly walked past them!). We managed to get to the peak, take a few pictures at the top (it was very windy and cold!) and then headed down, reaching the car before it started to pour with rain!
