Started around 7 and so glad we did, because the trail is definitely popular and parking was limited. Beautiful sunny day to hike…first mile or so follows a creek and passes a few Forest Service cabins and then starts heading up into a more forested area. A few swtichbacks, a couple of areas of shale of hike over, but for the most part, a really beautiful hike! Views from the peak are some of the best I've seen so far. Definitely a calf burner and my feet were feeling it…
