The lesser traveled (and slightly longer) trail is Fry-Koegol trail and I'm glad I took that one. It was the best part of the hike. Shaded and cool boulders to hike around and through, and not many people. Then you connect to the main trail going up the summit and that's when you joined by a ton of non-hikers that just want a potato chip rock photo. People with no trail etiquette and no respect. Makes enjoying a summit and little hard with lots of yelling, Bluetooth speakers playing music, and kids running around screaming with no supervision. How do people enjoy this hike ever?
Went down the road towards 67 to save time and I can believe anyone comes up that way (almost straight up) compared to going the trail I went that gently wraps around the peak. People are odd.
Glad to cross this one off the list and I will never be back. Horrible hike.
