Beautiful hike today and conditions were so great! Completely clear skies (could see for miles) and a light breeze that was super refreshing. A little more windy at the top so I would pack a light wind breaker if you plan on hanging out. No snow – only a tiny patch off to the side at the peak. So we didn’t use any gear, no poles only bc we like to have our hands free but plenty of people had their poles! I thought everything was pretty reasonable until the last mile which has a decent amount of rock scrambling but if you take it slow totally fine! It seemed parking lot was full at 8 am so we didn’t even try and go in and just parked on the side of the road right by the start actually! Lots of cute dogs and maybe 4 mountain bikers but all super respectful. Was so fun!
