What a long day! We were happy we got to the trail head a little before 6 as the parking lot was starting to fill up. Almost immediately we felt the altitude and our breath was short. We enjoyed this one a lot bc the grade wasn't bad at all. The views as always were beautiful and we used our GoPro for the first time which got us some real nice pictures. The weather was perfect. Once again I was thankful to find a seasonal creek but it was COVERED in bees. I sat extremely still while filling up my sack and we made it out alive, dirty and tired!
