Very chilly start, low 40’s around 8am and very chilly at the top, also in the 40’s and windy around 10:30am. Day was very sunny, so it had warmed into the 60’s by the time I got back to my car at the Mitchell Canyon entrance. Lots of people out there today enjoying the weather, so head there early if you can. The park officially opens at 8am, but I got the the gat about 7:45am and there was a line to get in and lots of cars already parked, so I’m thinking 7am would’ve been ok, too.

Visitor centers were closed, so was the summit parking lot, but lower lots were open, camp ground had people and the room above the visitor center was open, but only the first floor, not the second.

This was my fifth peak, just Mt Tam to go!  Hoping to knock that one out next weekend and complete my challenge! ????
