Turtlehead Peak February

This is a really hard hike. It is very rough and does not have carved out switch backs like the hikes in San Diego. I am a little afraid if this is the most accessible peak in Las Vegas.

It starts out easy and then you start the incline. It is extremely steep, hard to stay on the trail. The trail has lots of gravel. It is somewhat tricky and dangerous. I would have brought a pole. Kind of a miserable hike.
