The trail meanders harmlessly for the first little bit before you hit the devil’s work in the form of a hearty series of power-ups. I’ll admit my ole back may have felt a little more worn with the 20+ pound furball zipped in my back for portions. He did great, but his little penguin joints weren’t quite equipped for the full journey. Nice crisp view at the top. It was a tough number, but the hike was a rewarding exercise.
