Completed my 3rd “Six Pack of Peaks” hike today to Cucamonga Peak. So far I have hiked to Cucamonga Peak, Mt. Baldy (San Antonio Peak) and San Bernardino Peak. Next month is San Gorgonio, then hopefully San Jacinto in August.
I hiked the first half up to the Saddle with some of the Scouts from my old Boy Scout Troop 634. They were training fo a Sierra Trip that they are doing in a couple of weeks, but I left them at the Saddle and hiked the rest of the way to the peak on my own. Great hike. Met tons of interesting people both on the way up and back down.
