Cayamaca Bound

I got a late start this morning do to a temporary lack of motivation. I got to the trailhead just before 10 am and headed up. It was cool but I ditched one of my layers before getting started. I warmed up quickly and ended up doing the direct route up the road as opposed to longer and nicer route I travelled last summer. The road was clear all the way with snow at higher altitude on the sides. Made for an enjoyable hike. It was very quite today as I ran into two people on the way up and three on the way down. All in all a very nice spring hike.
