This was a relatively short hike, but still had its challenges, namely the last mile. When you start, after about a mile you get to a trailhead and there is a firebreak directly in front of you that goes straight up a mountain. We saw several people hiking up that and pretty much killing themselves. It's not the actual trail – it's a fire break! LOL! The trail goes to the left in a very scenic mountain edge fashion. Not until the last mile do you get to steep elevation and even then, you peak, and then peak again and then again – you keep thinking you're there but you're not…. until you are. Not too difficult, just know that there are a few false peaks before the actual Strawberry Peak.
