The Real Deal El Capitan!!!

Whew!!! That was a tough one for sure. Lots of ups and down. Going down the mountain was just as challenging physically, mentally, and cardiovascular wise. I absolutely enjoyed every part of this hike. Towards the summit where the County trail ends the trail gets a remote feel to it. Take your time and go for it the summit because it’s fun. You get to go a little bit of rock scramble, goat trail, wildlife, trees, brush!!! So rad!!! Totally enjoyed this hike. I would recommend a good hiking boot. I did it with trail runners and wish I brought my boots. Will also buy poles. Took a good spill on the way down that had no consequences but made me realize I need piles for certain spots!!!! Went solo on this one but would not recommend it because this is not an easy hike what so ever. Hooked up with a guy on the summit approach who help guide me towards the summit. The he split to a secret spot!!! Pretty cool. Then I met up with two hikers at the top.  Took some pictures and began the hike back up down!! Yep back up down because it sure seemed like I went up again. This one will kick your a$&!!!! Bring plenty of water and pace yourself. Trust me you will need it on the back down. Terrific day!!!! Thanks to my fellow hikers for your help!! I learned some new things today and pushed past some fears. Even puked on the side of the road on way home because I was so tired!!!
