We were going on a 3 day backpacking trip on the Ohlone Trail and decided to hike up Mission Peak on the last day. It was a pretty steep climb but definitely worth the view! Once we got to the top it was really windy but once we moved to the front side of the mountain the wind wasn't as strong. I had an enjoyable time and would totally recommend it if your look for a nice day hike.
