The trailhead had lots of cars although there was still plenty of parking. There was more than one group at the trailhead. I quickly went and parked and met with Dennis, Lu-Ann, and Meg and together we started to hike.  There were wildflowers although it wasn't a superbloom. We stopped and took pictures. We got to the summit without much incident although there were a lot of people at the summit. To my pleasant surprise, another friend Ismael and his fiancee Pearl were with the other group there. We had lunch, took pictures explored around the summit and started to head down. It was sunny but not too hot. We got back to our cars and Ismael's group also got back to the parking lot at around the same time we did. All in all, a good start to the SoCal Challenge for 2021.
