Bloody ripping day for it out on the trails. Had both Cucumonga, Ontario and Bighorn Peaks to myself! Eight hours of walking to start off my hiking season and it was well worth it being up above the clouds. The trail to Cucumonga was far easier to navigate than the trail to Ontario via Big Horn on the “unmarked” trail. Highly recommend doing both if you have the time and the stamina. I was surprised with the level of snow on the Ontario Peak trail, but it is manageable for most people. I avoided most of the bad stuff by doing Cucumonga first.

Beautiful views and perfect temperature for hiking. Would get out there now to knock these two off. Looking forward to tackling Baldy in a few days time

  1. Congrats Simon for doing (3) Peaks in one day!
My team plan doing Cucamonga and, a strong maybe, Ontario next week-end.
-Please did you have your micro spike on?
-How long did take you doing 3 peaks from parking lot to parking lot.
-What time did you you start?
BTW: our team already finished San Diego 6-Pack and finished 3/6 peaks of Southern California 6-Pack
