My friend and I started off at 7.30am. We were above the cloud cover and the sun shone which kept it comfortably warm. The last 1.5 miles to the peak was definitely steeper and more technical but the cider we enjoyed at the peak was well worth it. It was a challenging but good start to our 6 Peak Challenge.
