This was yet another first for me to hike and first at the parking lot. I supposed this is not as popular as others.
The trail was well marked but need to pay close attention to the Oak Grove trail as there were a few trails from starting point that may lead to private properties.
After navigating ourselves to a relatively flat terrain, we entered an uphill and narrow trail. This didn’t bother us much and reminded ourselves that this was nothing compared to El Cajon????????. A couple miles and we entered the wide dusty fire road. Probably in less than 2 miles to the peak, there were some patches of snow along the trail and some trees that offered shades. Not too far from the peak, we were exposed again.
At the top, there were a couple picnic tables. Another not so busy peak which was good to wander around for great photo ops.
