Mailbox Peak

This was my third time at Mailbox.  My first attempt was cut short after the talus field due to heat exhaustion.  I reclaimed the summit later in 2020 and added in a snow experience today.  We hiked the old trail up and the new trail down.

There’s snow at the top, but it’s manageable with micro spikes and poles.  I was surprised that it wasn’t more crowded!  Masks were intermittent.

This is a challenging hike, not to be underestimated.  Plan plenty of time and enjoy!
