Undoubtedly more challenging hikes. The trail that leads to the peak requires great care. Hiking on this trail is a little dangerous, but just look at where you step and firmly hold the support cables. The weather was changing all the time, but everything was very good. At all times I stopped to enjoy the beautiful view. Simply incredible. And the best thing was the new friends I made on the trail.

I agree–this is a very challenging hike –would rank as difficult, if not more, than Flatiron in the Superstitions! The best part of hiking Picacho Peak was meeting you Mario! What an amazing day and experience — lifelong hiking friends for sure, thanks to the Social Hiker – Six Peak Challenge! Can’t wait to go hiking with you again soon!
