Started early since an hour drive from OC would mean I’ll struggle to find parking. Thankfully Mt Baldy has a larger parking space than the spaces for Icehouse Saddle.

Snow mostly gone, and it’s still windy. I decided to take the middle ridge downward and boy did I regret taking a different path for the sake of a different path as I kept falling from the steep downhill while heading back from the summit. Met some cool dudes though and we chatted about our love of the outdoors, one of my new friend was scared about the Devil’s backbone but thanks to my cheery, albeit annoying, attitude to getting things done, my 2 new pals did their first Mt Baldy summit. Enjoyed nice Persian food afterward as I’m a sucker for Middle Eastern & Indian food right after a long hike
