Beautiful sunny Saturday morning hike with beautiful views.  This was my first time at this trail and we missed the “scramble” entrance.  We were only prepared for hiking for 8 miles what was said on the trails directions.  We ended up going down to strawberry meadows and took up the strawberry peak that route.  I would say that this hike felt a bit harder than Angel's Landing in Zion, maybe because I had already been hiking for over 6 miles.  Great views when we got to the top!  Best thing was that we got to share strawberries at the peak while taking pictures with the sign.  We decided to take the Colby Canyon trail back to the entrance due to other hikers recommending the “scramble” not being safe going down.  As a result, we ended up running out of water on the last 4 miles before getting to the car.  We met a kind son and father duo who offered clementines, which energized our body and morale.  Thank you!!! Loving the hiking community!
