Big Bad Baldy!

We decided to hike up Register Ridge which was tough but fantastic and satisfying. I was amazed at just how crowded Mt Baldy was that day (a Saturday) and definitely impressed with how many people made it to the top. Met some interesting people along the way. It was a beautiful day. Hiking down the Baldy Bowl was precarious and we took it slow. The pine trees were gorgeous. This mountain never ceases to amaze me. I’m really happy we chose it as one of our six peaks. Even more exciting, we saw two Bighorn Sheep! I have always wanted to see bighorns in the mountains but this was my first time. It was a pair (male and female) so it must be mating season? Thanks for the fun Baldy.
