Holy Jim Trail is gone, so Main Divide Road is the trail. It started out cool and overcast but soon we were above the cloud cover, fully exposed. I should have worn sunscreen. I enjoyed the gradual incline and the 10 mile distance but mostly I loved looking at the clouds below. Finished in less than 4 hours. The “trail” is a one lane road from the start and goes all the way to the peak, so we had to stop and move many times for vehicles to pass. Lots of dirt bikes too. Lots of trash, I filled my trash bag. Someone stole the peak sign. Not much at the top other than towers. The bench mark is on a pile of rocks ????
