We started from the Vincent Gap at about 8:30. The main lot was full, so we parked across the street. There were also parking spots left in the west parking lot. At the trail head it was a bit cold and windy. We started layered, but by the fourth switchback we had already gotten down to shirts (forecast for the day was a high of 53). At switchback 6 there is a great bench with an awesome view to take a quick break. There were two downed trees that crossed the trail (pictured). These made for some scrambling fun. Brought my dog, and met some pretty nice pet owners along the way. The summit was fun, and had a light crowd. It was awesome to see us now above the low clouds. Great hike and probably a better trail run.
