5/22/2021 – Mt Baden Powell

This one was definitely a bit of a grind. Elevation gain right out of the bat and it really doesn’t let up the entire way until you’re almost at the summit. Then a final ascent to get to the peak. ????

We did see snow, you can see it in one of the pictures, but it was more of an oddity to look at than anything to have to navigate. I was a little concerned because it had snowed the previous night on the mountain, but it all melted away by the time we got there.

The views on the top were absolutely breathtaking. We had the clouds below in so it obscured some of the vistas, but totally worth the trip.
