A work day for most, but a hike day for me. The worst thing about the hike were the drives in and out – a bunch of lookie-loos especially on the way out.
Weather was sunny, skies blue, except out toward the cities with haze. Nice breezes occasionally on ascent. Uncrowded trail. Started at 9:00 am, finished at 2:15, including a 30 minute lunch at the top. Like I said, easy-peasy, occasionally breezy. Almost so easy, it didn't feel like an accomplishment. This could totally be a hike 1 or 2, if not for the 90-minute drive out.
