Tough because we took the more vertical ascent, proceeded by the path to the restaurant and lifts.
Sierra Club maintains a lovely lodge about halfway up. Stop for a spell and take pictures.
Plenty of fellow hikers at the top helped keep loneliness at bay.
Descent through the ski village, during summer, is pretty boring. Descent after restaurant along the road is not pretty, just boring.
