We arrived at the trailhead at 7:00 am, and found plenty of parking. I was concerned we'd have trouble with that since this is such a popular hike, but it turned out just fine.

The hike wasn't especially difficult, and the weather helped. It was grey out and cool from the time started up until we reached the peak. The sun came out on our way down.

Potato Chip Rock was as popular as I've heard! There was a line we had to wait in so that we could take pictures. I kinda wanted to skip it, but I'm glad I waited. Probably wouldn't do it again, but it was nice to take photos at such an iconic spot.

My girlfriend and I have been wanting to go on more overnight trips, so I carried my big backpack with everything in it to acclimate myself to carrying more weight.
