At 7 am there were about a dozen cars in the lot, as it was a weekday. It warmed up quickly and that last section after the second saddle was a bit of a slog. But it is always a beautiful hike: the sounds of the stream in the lower section, the variation in landscape. And views of Baldy, Ontario, Gorgonio, San Jacinto, and Saddleback. An entire six pack of peaks!
