Weather at base was 71 degrees. A breeze was non existent and much needed as I didn't start until 1230p with a group. The UV was super high even with sunscreen I got a bit of a sunburn on shoulders. Bugs were for sure starting to come out and buzz around my head. Many, many bicyclists in parking lot but I did not see any actually riding on the mountains. Super great hike. went ahead and did 3-2-1- challenge since I was there, and…I am paying for that decision the day after 🙂 love Sawmill hike and the views are so so good.
