For those who have done the Six-Pack of Peaks, you know how long of a drive it is to the trailhead for Sawmill, and for us from San Diego, it is even worse. This year I did it with Ted Markus as an overnight, camping at Sheep Camp just between Sawmill and Grouse. The spring was flowing enough, so that lightened the load a bit. The weather was great and got in all three peaks to complete the 3-2-1 Challenge as well.
