High Point via Oak Grove Trail

I started my hike around 6:00 am in order to summit before the midday heat. Up, up, and then some more up! There was one section a couple of miles in where I thought I saw flat trail, but I was wrong. I had a harder time coming down 6+ miles than going up. Brutal butt kicker. No wonder it was last on my list for the Six Pack of Peaks challenge. But it’s done and I can say I finished something!!
