Living Beyond – Black Crater

Absolutely stunningly clear views! A hot day, so we started at 6:30 am, which made for a much more enjoyable hike. Basically had the entire trail to ourselves. No one at the summit, and passed only 3 solo hikers the entire way back down. Lots of gorgeous wildflowers blooming right now! It was the perfect day for me to celebrate Living Beyond (my mother died way too young, so hiking is one way I honor her and today was a special day marking the anniversary of when I finally outlived her).
