I meant to start at dawn but didn't get to the trailhead until 7:30. Miraculously the sun stayed behind clouds all morning making the climb a little easier and came out just in time for the summit! It ended up being a little longer than I thought (8.5 mi instead of 7.5). A bit of a butt kicker but a great way to train for my Sierra backpacking trip.
