Another stunning hike & my last in the six-pack. Recommend starting from the lower trailhead to experience a really awesome section of forest and work your way up to the steeper terrain ahead – AllTrails navigates to the upper trailhead but Washington Trails Association offers a good description of where the lower vs. upper trail parking is at. No need for snow preparedness any longer, wildflowers in bloom, bugs (flys) were a nuisance.
