Oh lord, I’m glad it’s over!

trail was good, dry and dusty though. Several portions where people have made their own paths. Easy to get mixed up a bit and wind up off the proper trail. Lots of mosquitos on the first leg, second leg through the plateau was a welcome break. The Red Mile – DAM. Tough up and down, recommend microspikes and gators for sure on this portion. Once up, beautiful views and an easy .3 to the true summit.

Weather was nice. Don’t think it got over 70, occasional clouds and a bit hazy in the distance. Other than that, it was really just right.
