The hike was really beautiful, tuff, exhausting but incredibly amazing. We walked and walked looking at the beautiful landscapes, glimmering shine reflecting the light of the sun, bouncing from rock to rock.
Getting to the Ski hut was something unexpected, but the view from there was nice. I can only Imagine how white and fluffy the snow would look all over those mountain's.
The Devils backbone, “Yes” exactly how it sounds, the intense incline and the faulty grabble made the hike even more difficult, I had to stop a couple of times, breathing heavily and aching back, and the salt of my sweat burning my skin while the sun made it even drying. The Summit of the Baldy was something out of this world, you can get a 360 view of the mountain and an overview of the the horizon in the back ground. The devils backbone was the a step to the head of the devil, the summit.
On our way back we ended up getting lost, and trekked the opposite way to Cucamanga Church, at least i think thats what it's called. There is much I can tell of this hike, but unfortunately that would be to long. Make sure enjoy, have fun, hike plenty of miles, and take plenty of pictures.
