I'm reposting, because I don't think I logged the original post right.
I'm glad to look back at my 1st peak now though, I found I love to be active. Since my 1st hike I feel like it's helped me grow. I've met new friends and now am part of hiking group. I'm at the gym minimum 4x a week, I found that, although I've always like to hike these peaks have helped me realize how much I love the physical and mental challenges that come with the hikes.
That once you've started, you just have to finish. When you feel like giving up, you've realized you're already at the top and it was all worth it. The feeling of accomplishment once it's all over, and recognizing how much in my own mind held me back. Each time I finished I wanted to go back to see how I would do knowing what I know now.
I had different goals at the beginning of this hike. I haven't reached all of them, but like these hike I know I'll get there.
