I had heard from many friends how they hated this hike so I was cautiously optimistic about it but it turns out that I actually really liked this hike. Definitely my type of hiking terrain and incline. Really enjoyed it abs made it up relatively quickly. The peak was nothing special as far as view is concerned- it was ok plus there was a bit of cloud cover that particular day. I loved the fact that there is a bathroom abs running water at the top, not to mention the cosmic cafe- it wasn’t open yet when we were there but very cool for fire hikes up there.  I had a knee injury about a month prior to this hike and felt like it was better but I brought my knee brace just in case for  the decent abs boy did I need it. About a mile down my knee pain because intense ( far worse than it had ever been prior) wow, I had to go slow and honestly wasn’t sure if I would make it back down. Stopped took Motrin and rubbed cbd on it which helped. Had to take the brave off because it made it worse. Took a while but made it down abs then promptly went to orthopedic dr the following day ?? after 6 weeks of rehab I finally did another big hike abs though sore , it wasn’t too bad.
overall mt Wilson is now one of my favorite hikes to date.
