Started a little after 4; sun breached the ridge of Big Bear(?) shortly before I summitted- literally no one else on the trail! One car ahead of me as I drove in, one pulled in behind me after I parked. Met a cool dude at the summit who took the opposite route of my loop, started an hour and a half after me, supposedly, but said he didn't run it…ah to be young and spry, I suppose. I took the fire road to the Backbone to the summit, then Ski Hut down- even with time at the summit and talking with some elder gentleman Dan on the way down, took just over 6 hours. 9 or 10 hours my first time on this route, two years ago! Oh and some hiker let me know there was a mountain goat I was approaching, so I got some shots of that!
